Janet Rich
Janet is a fully qualified, experienced member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and works to their strict code of ethics. She has a diploma in integrative counselling as well as training in group therapy and psychosynthesis.
She has an established South London practice and has worked in a number of professional settings, including mainstream education as a play therapist, special schools for children with emotional and behavioural issues, bereavement, carers and youth services, more recently specialising in end of life care.
In addition to counselling she has been a practicing artist for 25 years, facilitating groups to find meaning through their creative expression, also undertaking various other teaching, consultancy and group work. She is committed to a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, and is personally enriched by her own meditation and yoga practices.
Janet believes in the therapeutic ability of a good counselling relationship to nurture growth, self acceptance and belonging.
